Ohio Northern University was founded by Henry Solomon Lehr in Ada, Ohio in 1871. It was originally referred to as Ohio Normal University. Just about 3,500 undergrad students attend, in the colleges of Arts & Sciences, Business Administration, Engineering, Pharmacy, and Law. A school mascot occurs as Polar Bear wearing a scarf. Ohio Northern University's campus is known as a tundra, a double entendre stemming from the school mascot, & a jab at what a few watch when its general wastel& and snow covered state.
